Sunday, March 1st, 1-3pm
Are you a collector of possibility? Do you constantly see potential and beauty in scraps of paper and scrounged small bits of fabric or beads? We'll embellish some unique papers, make our own decorative tapes to get a vintage look and construct snippet spools of fun scraps. We will assemble your chosen pages and found collections into one of a kind junk journal art books for further creating. All materials provided but feel free to bring your own (mostly flat) funky finds! I have been tea dying loads of papers for sumptuously crinkly pages.
Junk Journals are a carefree intro into book binding. As any paper at all can be used, from junk mail and packing paper to vintage treasures and old book pages, each one is a one of a kind creation. Embellishments such as fabric scraps, ribbons, lace and beads make them a multi sensory exquisite item to hold and behold.
You’ll learn 2 binding options & some creative pocket constructions to keep your continual collecting contained!
