Adult / Teen
How do I grow my garden? What do I use and maybe, more importantly, what do I not use? I frequently get asked, “why aren’t there any weeds?” In the workshop component of the event we will compare and contrast areas with weeds (unwanted plants) and areas without weeds. We will talk about natural goodness we can give our gardens and how to prevent, remove, or suppress weeds naturally.
Help your garden oasis thrive using simple solutions such as worm castings, fertilizer made from banana peels, deep woodchip composting pathways and comfrey tea in this 1 hour introduction to organic, no-till, compost rich, mulched, polyculture gardening workshop.
Participants will get hands on experience in the garden that can be replicated at home.
This workshop meets on Sundays either 10-11am or 4-5pm, choose once you add to the cart
